Flood-resilient subdivision design. Orogen was engaged to provide complete civil engineering, surveying, and planning coordination services for the subdivision and development of 12 residential lots at James Street, Plimmerton. The site presented unique challenges including flood risk, limited existing infrastructure, and complex stakeholder requirements. Orogen led the civil design and consenting process, developing integrated scheme plans and servicing layouts and an engineering servicing report addressing stormwater, wastewater, water supply, and utilities.

Consenting and delivery. Stakeholder engagement was coordinated across Porirua City Council, Greater Wellington Regional Council, Wellington Water, and NZTA. Orogen's design enabled efficient earthworks, supported erosion control, and facilitated staged construction. The proposed infrastructure was aligned with council expectations, minimising delays and ensuring smooth approvals. For the vertical build partner, Orogen delivered a fully serviced site with compliant access, water, and drainage connections, with fire protection standards met and each lot ready for individual dwelling construction.
