Brownfield industrial redevelopment. Orogen provided integrated civil engineering, planning, environmental, and surveying services to support the redevelopment of an industrial facility at 6-8 Raiha Street, Elsdon, Porirua. The project involved the staged redevelopment of a large brownfield industrial site to deliver two new warehouse facilities, associated hardstand and access infrastructure, and fully integrated private three-waters systems. The site presented complex stormwater, dewatering, contaminated land, and consenting constraints adjacent to the Porirua Scenic Reserve and Elsdon Wetland.

Three waters design and consenting. Orogen delivered concept, consent, and detailed design for stormwater, wastewater, and water supply infrastructure servicing two independent warehouse developments. Stormwater treatment, retention, reuse, and attenuation systems were designed including proprietary treatment devices, underground retention tanks, reuse tanks, and permeable paving. Resource consent applications were prepared and coordinated for both Porirua City Council and GWRC, including an AEE under the RMA, Natural Resources Plan, and NES-CS. Construction monitoring at CM3 level was delivered with full NZS 4404 Schedule 1A and 1C certifications.
