Nigel Hillier

Nigel is an Associate and Senior Civil Engineer at Orogen with over 40 years of experience in urban infrastructure projects for private and local authority clients. His career has spanned large-scale international projects through to local subdivision developments, giving him an excellent insight into project requirements across the board. Nigel's expertise covers earthworks, roading, drainage, NZS3910 contract administration, compliance testing, and certification as Engineer's Representative. He brings thorough knowledge of GWRC civil project delivery compliance and has delivered some of Wellington's most significant residential subdivision programmes, including Churton Park, Whitby, Grenada Village and Woodridge, collectively involving tens of millions of cubic metres of earthworks and tens of kilometres of roads and services.
